Setting goals to achieve better personal health and fitness is important. While practicing with a Nike soccer ball it is important to remember that you need to use the right strategies to set those goals. As mentioned previously, overdoing it can lead to problems as well. Therefore, you need to consider the strategy that you will use.

Analyze: The first thing that you need to do is analyze your current health and fitness. What is your personal level of fitness? Can you jog for half a mile without a problem? Do you struggle for breath after only a short period of physical exercise?

You also need to analyze your diet and your sleep patterns. What areas need to be changed? How does your diet stack up to the guidelines found on Health.gov?  How can you play the game of soccer better?

Define Changes: Once you have analyzed your current level of health and fitness, you need to identify areas that need to be addressed. For instance, if you need to build more stamina, then you need to look into doing more cardiovascular workouts to improve endurance. If you need to improve a specific skill-related ability (balance, coordination, etc.), then you need to determine which activities can help you achieve those goals. Activities which can help you be more flexible in the game of soccer will definitely help you.

Make a Plan: After analyzing and defining changes that need to be made, you need to create a plan. Your plan will be unique to you, but it must include activities that will bring about the fitness you need, as well as dietary guidelines that will help you improve your overall health.

Creating your personal fitness and health plan is simple. However, you need to consider your time when creating a plan. For instance, how will you fit your activities into your daily schedule? Time management is an important skill here, and you will have to use it to create a workable plan that you can stick to for the duration.

A Variety of Physical Activities

You cannot base your health and fitness plan on only one or two physical activities. It is essential that you choose a variety of different options. Here are some of those options:

  • Soccer
  • Baseball
  • Football
  • Aerobics
  • Hiking
  • Walking
  • Jogging
  • Long-distance running
  • Swimming

While practicing with a Nike soccer ball it is important to remember that to choose a variety of these options and work them into your weekly schedule. By participating in several different activities like playing the game of soccer, you are able to enjoy several benefits. First, you will not lose interest, as is often the case when only one or two activities are repeated over and over again. Second, you will be able to exercise different parts of the body during different activities, which is an important consideration for overall health.

Nutrition programs can also be tailored to your interests and goals. For example, if you feel very strongly about animal rights and find the thought of consuming meat abhorrent, you might consider becoming a vegetarian (with the proper nutritional support).
